Ellie Diaz, the founder of CasaGlow MedSpa brings an expertise culled not only from top beauty academies, but also from an international background which afforded her firsthand contact with some of the top beauty-conscious centers in the world.

 

With roots in both Europe and South America—“I’m proud I was born to a Brazilian mother and Spanish father, and I feel I've obtained wisdom from both of them”—Ellie credits her upbringing in Spain for honing her European sensibility. After attended the prestigious Jean d’Estrees Beauty Academy, a French academy based in Madrid, Ellie spent her young career first operating a Madrid spa specializing in “hands on” treatments, and then expanding her reach in the aesthetic and fashion industry with established brands in Singapore, Dubai, Italy, and London …”places  where beauty and elegance hold great importance.”

 

In 2013, Ellie moved to New York, a place where beauty and fashion are paramount. She bolstered her business acumen by attending Baruch College, and expanded her aesthetic knowledge with coursework at the Aveda Institute. “After five years of study,” she says, “I was ready to get back to my career in beauty and pursue this passion.”

 

Though she has equipped herself with the best possible education, Ellie considers her zeal and dedication to her craft to be the most important aspect of her mission: “My priority is to provide a premium quality experience that allows people to feel good about themselves…my plan is to welcome patients as the king and queen of my practice as I always treat others the way I like to be treated
